Firsts...

This was Kenneth's first birthday party... he turned 13.

He was so excited about his party!

It was the first time he had ever received gifts on his birthday...

Every gift was met with a most thankful hug for the giver!

The relationship these brothers share is definitely a gift!

A testimony of God's faithfulness and goodness!

He had his first birthday cake... 

and blew out candles for the first time.

 Celebrating his special day with first cousins...

When we brought out his last gift, his first bicycle...

he could hardly contain his excitement!

After his party, he read the sweetest letter to us...

thanking us for everything...

but mostly he thanked us for being his family and for loving him.

He played several songs on his drum...

singing of the faithfulness of God.

He always remembers Who to put first.

Happy Birthday, my precious son.
