As I finished packing the last of my things to return home from Ug*nda this past weekend, I couldn't help but feel a sense of defeat. My heart ached that I had to leave my children once again without giving them an answer to the question they asked everyday, "Mummy, when will you take us home."
God had certainly accomplished a lot during my three week stay... but the one thing that I so desperately wanted... did not happen. I was discouraged.
Interrupting this thought process, Juliet said to me, "Mummy, we fasted and we prayed that you would come and help us."
That's when it hit me... God had accomplished His purpose for this trip.
He is faithful. Even when my purpose isn't accomplished... He is faithful.
He answered the prayers of my children, who desperately needed me to come to them and help them.
He is faithful.
